Sad to hear the news this morning. Nanci Griffith passed away last night at the age of 68

I'm sure I would've posted a thread about her sooner or later, but just never quite got to it.

We lost a great song writer, a story teller with an angels voice.

Rest Peacefully Ms. Griffith

I wish I believed in a reality that would allow these duets to happen again.





But she was so much more than harmony on another artist's songs

hit a double and an RBI single while pitching a 2 hit complete game shut out

He accounted for more total bases and RBIs than he allowed.

There were 3 stellar plays behind him late in the game that preserved the shut out - and for one night I enjoyed being a Card fan - Again
