I know exactly what his motivation was. He was simply PILING ON at a time when the RACIST ATTACKS on Obama were coming in hot and heavy. He was trying to CRIPPLE and HUMILIATE Obama. He was trying LOWER OBAMA'S STATURE. He was trying to DIMINISH HIM. He was trying shit all over Obama's ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

It was disgusting. What a low thing to do.

Oh dear... this Castro thing is really getting on people's nerves!

I guess it's a good thing that Obama isn't a self proclaimed and avowed Socialist running for president in 2020.

comments on Fidel Castro are ill-informed & insulting to thousands of Floridians. Castro was a murderous dictator who oppressed his own people. His “literacy program” wasn’t altruistic; it was a cynical effort to spread his dangerous philosophy & consolidate power.

Saying a murderous dictator wasn’t so bad because of a literacy program is like saying “there were very fine people, on both sides”

Everything he's said about the Democratic party IS WRONG. Where's the apology and retraction?

Everything he's said about the Democratic party IS WRONG. Where's the apology and retraction?

It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt". It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats are "intellectually bankrupt". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "feeble". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "corrupt". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is an "absolute failure". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is "the party of the one-percent". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is the "party of the elite". It's NOT TRUE that there's "no difference between Democrats and Republicans." It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats "are the same as the GOP". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "do-nothings". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party "doesn't care about climate change." It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats "focus too much" on diversity. It's also NOT TRUE that people who the refuse to vote for an African-American because of his skin color "aren't racists". It's also NOT TRUE that the Democrats who "are very big into diversity" aren't "particularly sympathetic" to the working class.

This is the type of negativity that DOES divide the party. I creates anger, distrust, resentment, suspicion... and that weakens us. A divided party is a weak party. What good purpose does it serve to attack Democrats and the Democratic party?

All I'm trying to say is that this is the cause of so much negativity. Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

When he apologizes and admits that he was not telling the truth, then I'll consider supporting him.

Bernie is an extremely divisive figure in our party. Many Democrats resent his use of our party when it’s convenient for him, rather than being committed to the party full stop. And saying “but he votes with/caucuses with the Dems most of the time” doesn’t make him a Democrat, no matter how many times it's said.

Even when Bernie runs on the Democratic ticket, he attacks the party. That doesn’t exactly endear him to committed party members – especially in today’s political environment, when being a united party is key. By stating that “the Democratic establishment AND the Republican establishment can’t stop him”, he is being extremely divisive by putting himself out as someone who is actually running against BOTH parties, and not as someone who is running FOR the party that he is supposedly running on behalf of.

He knew for a month and not a word, not a complaint, not a peep.

He knew for a month and not a word, not a complaint, not a peep.

So the help continued. Facebook, twitter, poll manipulation... it all continued unabated to benefit Bernie.

Yet, only silence. Silence. Silence equals approval. He said nothing. He did nothing.

Why? Why would any honorable candidate remain silent?

All I'm trying to say is that this was a test of courage and leadership ... and it was one that Bernie failed. Big time.

Sad.

This was a test of leadership and integrity and Bernie failed it... BIG TIME!

Sanders was just caught red-handed, with his pants down, holding a smoking gun...failing to timely disclose that he knew of Russia's meddling on his behalf. That's a huge blow to his reputation as a straight shooter. He knew Russia was trying to help him, and he said nothing.
This was a test of leadership and integrity and Bernie failed it... BIG TIME! In my mind, he does not deserve to be POTUS. He's disqualified. He should withdraw now. We deserve better.

He was clearly angry yesterday that this didn't remain quiet until tonight or tomorrow.
The help may have come to him "unsolicited"... but he did NOTHING proactive to STOP IT, or to alert voters that it was happening!!! The way I see it... his silence was a sign of approval or gratitude. Or, he just didn't care BUT HE SHOULD HAVE CARED!!!

Here's a freshman Representative who truly impresses me!

You want to know WHY it is that I find her to be so impressive... it's HER WORK and the fact that SHE'S BUSY WORKING with and for HER CONSTITUENTS!

I really like that she doesn't feel any need to tag along behind a man to try and use someone else to boost her public image and persona. She's smart enough and confident enough to know that her work for her constituents will speak for itself without the need to showboat.

She's got her priorities right. She doesn't hate the Democratic party, and she takes seriously her responsibility and obligation to work for the benefit of those who elected her. I also like that she doesn't try to smear, attack and divide our party with smears and attacks on fellow Democrats and against the party.

LOL!

The negativity you share here is not good for the party.

Oh, FFS! GMAFB! Yes, I'm sure that my comments on an anonymous discussion board is going to have a negative impact on the party.

I mean it's not as though I were some high-profile individual who spent the majority of their public life smearing and demeaning the ENTIRE Democratic party and other LOYAL and STALWART Democratic figures with lies and insults.

How do you feel when someone declares that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt". Does it bother you when someone publicly states that Democrats are "feeble" and that Democrats are "corrupt", or that Democratic party is an "absolute failure".

I mean, be honest now... what good purpose does it serve for someone to use their position to falsely declare that the Democratic party is "the party of the one-percent" and that the Democratic party is the "party of the elite"?

Wouldn't you agree that it's "not good for the party" (as you say) when an elected official declares that there is "no difference between Democrats and Republicans." Exactly HOW does shit like this help the party? How does it motivate middle-of-the-road voters, and first-time voters to make the decision to choose Democrats?

ANSWER: None of those things motivate voters to support Democrats. It's pure hate and negativity toward an entire party... top to bottom. That kind of negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

Yet, somehow it's MY comments that are the greatest concern, eh? Lord.
