Lots of close Gubernatorial races this cycle. Go Blue! Blue 🌊

Cognitive Dissonance 😆- when you love some Trump supporters.

Cog Diss is defined as having diff beliefs or thoughts that are at odds.
I think that has now been turned up to new and dangerous levels in our country.

We progressives and Dems really detest people like Trump, McConnell and Kavanaugh.
But, many of us really love or deeply care about people who voted for and still support them.

In the past, like under W, I think many of us (at least I did) just avoided any political talk with our Bush supporting loved ones.
But now, with Trump being so all invasive and so Trump and the gloating and the insults, etc. etc.

Well, you see where I’m going.
I am very worried that I’m going to lose some very important relationships in my life.
It is becoming harder and harder to just avoid politics with certain people.
Instead I am just avoiding these people on days that I just don’t have the energy to fake it that all is good when I don’t respect these people. Can you still love someone you no longer respect?

Cognitive Dissonance sucks. Thanks Trump. Thanks GOP.

Latinas May decide control of the Senate

These four states that have good sized Hispanic populations are all tossups.
Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Florida.
Will Hispanic women show up to the polls in big numbers?

This is your DREAM team. So, don’t limit yourself on who might accept. You are the decider.

First, I would talk to Keith Olbermann and tell him that he could have his own show if he picked his own producers, editors, etc. And any in fighting therefore would be his fault. Short leash.

It's funny how the media won't go near FFFFF .

They did show Kavanaughs letter about drinking and puking at the beach house.
And some did talk about him signing it with the name Bart.
But, they didn’t discuss how he signed it with 5 F’s.
They don’t want to go there because it’s awkward to discuss sex stuff.

In his testimony last Thursday, Kavanaugh said those F’s referred to a friends stuttering.
That was a lie.
Why would Kavanaugh sign a letter....FFFFF Bart.
It’s because his drinking nickname was Bart O’Kavanaugh and because his friends used the 5F’s as a slogan or mantra.

Here’s what it means. I know because I heard my brother and his drunk horny friends use it all the time back in the 1970’s and 80’s.

Fondle em
Finger em
Fuck em and
Forget em.

Why does this matter? Because Kavanaugh lied to Congress about it.
He also lied when he said the expression Devils Triangle is a drinking game.
It’s not. It’s when two men have sex with one woman.
Kav and his friends obviously talked about booze and having sex a lot.
Many high school and college boys do this.
But he lied about it and tried to pretend he was a choir boy.
Friends and acquaintances have backed up the oft drunk sexually inappropriate version of him.
But, the press, the Senate, and the media won’t totally go down that road.
And that’s pathetic. And totally unfair to the women.

Will white married suburban women vote for the Dems in November?

They hold the key to a blue tsunami 🌊 vs a mild blue wave especially in the key states that will decide the Senate.
Here’s hoping that the Kavanaugh hearings and the way that Trump and others have belittled women will make a difference.
