Devastating new poll for Trump. Repubs who side with Pence on 2020 election: 52% With Trump: 36%
This poll signals that the Trump bubble has burst.
A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found that 72 percent of all Americans, including a 52 percent majority of Republicans, said that Pence's view on the topic was closer to their "line of thinking."
"Could Pence have overturned the election as ordered by Trump?" Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy asked in a statement. "Pence said no, and a large majority of voters agree, including 52 percent of Republicans, exhibiting a rare break in the GOP lockstep with Trump."
While most Republicans said they sided with Pence, 36 percent said they agreed with Trump, and another 12 percent were undecided. The poll was conducted among 1,321 U.S. adults between February 10 and February 14 and had a 2.7 percent margin of error.

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade has rejected Trump's Arizona election fraud claim as "an outright lie."
He described Trump's claim he won the swing state as an "outright lie."
Some Republicans are concerned Trump's election fraud fixation could cost them in the mid-terms.

'And everything that he said and the challenges that he made should have been done before the election. And they did a recount in Arizona, and the recount showed no difference almost, and he came out and said it showed that they won Arizona," Kilmeade said. "That's an outright lie, and please stop wasting our time with that, because he's capable of doing so much more."

Donald Trump Jr, if you are listening, Daddy will throw you under the bus and let you rot in prison.
Donald Trump's former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen claimed Trump said that if one of his kids had to go to prison over the family business to "make sure" it was Donald Jr., not Ivanka.
Speaking to MSNBC on Saturday, Cohen said Trump gave him the instruction when his children were on the verge of being indicted by the Manhattan District Attorney's office in 2012.
"You may recall that there was the district attorney's case here for Trump Soho where it was either Don or Ivanka was in very big trouble as a result of lying about the number of units that had been sold," Cohen told MSNBC's Alex Witt.
"And Donald said it to me I mean I wouldn't say it if it wasn't said directly to me he goes 'if one or the other has to go to prison, make sure that it's Don because Don would be able to handle it.'"

Less than 13% of the population 18 or older are anti-vax or haven't had a covid jab.
If you've had at least one shot, for whatever reason, I figure you aren't hard-core anti-vax. Even if you had to get a jab to do your job or to please your partner, etc., you aren't likely to believe the anti-vax conspiracy theories.
This helps put the size of the anti-vax movement in perspective.
Percent of US Population who have had at least one shot.

GOOD NEWS! USA new covid cases: 827k was 897k 7 days ago, UK 99K was 176k, Canada 29k was 44k
Among all the doom and gloom, here's some good news! It looks like cases may have peaked and USA cases may drop sharply in the next week and then in the weeks beyond that, in line with trends set by other nations. And as covid cases drop, you know what that means? It's good for vulnerable people, it's good for hospital workers, it's good for businesses, it's good for consumer confidence, it's good for the economy, it's good for Joe Biden and his approval numbers. It's good news for America!

What would you say if you thought that at least a few Democratic lawmakers read DU?
Republican lies and conspiracy theories have become the norm for much of the population. We could be three years away from dictatorship in America.
What would you say to them right now?
What advice would you give?
What do you think they could be doing that they aren't?
I would be interested to hear your ideas.
Old video surfaces of Rand Paul telling students that spreading misinformation is a 'great tactic."
The lecture was reported on at the time by The Atlantic, which detailed the context of the question. According to The Atlantic, Paul was asked by a student if he had "last-minute advice" for their exams the next day.
In response, Paul said that he "never, ever cheated" and did not condone the practice, but added: "But I would sometimes spread misinformation. This is a great tactic. Misinformation can be very important."
Paul then described how he and some classmates would spread misinformation to students they viewed as competitors and send them down the wrong path during exam prep.

"That's my advice, misinformation works," Paul said.
Representatives for Paul did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider.
The video surfaced after NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci accused Paul this week of spreading misinformation about him for political gain.

Idiot Ron DeSantis asked if people ever sought testing to see if they were sick before covid.
"Now think about it," DeSantis said Friday. "Before COVID did anyone go out and seek testing to determine if they were sick? It's usually you feel like you're sick and you get tested to determine what you maybe have come down with."
