Chapped lips, arghhh.

So, my husband and I haven't had the flu, but we've had the "crud" for two weeks. I haven't been sick in a decade.

This time my lips are so chapped. Lip "balms" have done nothing. Maybe even making it worse.

I looked up remedies for chapped lips on line.

Someone suggested making a scrub of honey and sugar. I tried it and my lips feel so much better.

Maybe it can work for you, too..

Yours in good health and bad...

Obama officiates at staffer's wedding

Obama presided over the Jan. 21 wedding of Dana Remus, a former lawyer for his administration, and Brett Holmgren, who served as a special assistant to the president and on the National Security Council as senior director for intelligence program.

"We had decided to invite him because he was such an important part of our lives, we asked him if he could attend the wedding, and as we discussed it, he was intrigued with the idea of officiating a wedding," Holmgren told the magazine.

Obama reportedly earned a temporary officiant's license through the city government and signed the couple's wedding certificate.

Madison music history ?

Trying so hard to remember, can anyone answer.....

Back in the 70's there was a music venue downtown between University and Johnson that had some really great shows. Moody Blues among them. Anyway, I think it was the Plasma Center for a long time since. Stone Hearth? That was on park wasn't it?

I realize that there were many memory inhibitors at the time, but please someone?

Thanks much...
