I will just leave this here and say, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Has anyone ever dealt with a persistent spam operation like this?

First, the mail system is Spectrum cable and Outlook 2019, POP3

I get 5-10 of these a day. The sender nor the domain is ever exactly the same, so I can’t block the sender or a domain. I tried blocking just a partial, i.e “businesswoman.com” and that does not seem to work. Of course the email has the ubiquitous "click here to unsubscribe" but both McAfee and Netgear Armor tell me if I insist on following that link they will disown me, so I haven't, lol.

WHOIS says the domain, as an example “@mike6russell7businesswoman.com” is available. Are they translating the real domain by random generation? Is there any way to determine the real domain? Any ideas how to block this stuff. I have not yet dropped back to Spectrum to see if there is anything I can do there, but will try that today. TIA.

Evolution of a family heirloom

Obviously, I didn't take this photograph, but I want to share it with those I believe can really appreciate it. Photographs are as close to a time machine as we have. I can't count the hours spent bringing it to life. The original is a 2.75in x 4.5in negative taken by my mother or father of my older brother, by 12 years, (RIP dear brother) in about 1942 or 1943. He is standing on my dad's new Southern Bell telephone truck. The first photo is the raw scan, the second is the processed b/w, and just today......I colorized it. I really hope you enjoy it.

Frontwoman Pees on Fan's Face ... During Live Concert

A rock band's lead singer got a little too hardcore during a live show -- pulling down her pants and taking a major leak on a dude's face ... who seemed to be all about it.

This wild incident went down Thursday night during the Welcome to Rockville festival at the Daytona International Speedway -- where Brass Against performed to a ton of fanfare ... and eventually, to a ton of grossed-out spectators who witnessed this unsanitary scene.

I like to combine different pieces of lens gear just to see what can be achieved. Unfortunately, there are many more
failures than satisfying results. This photo I like very much!

I don’t think of this as macro, but more closeup photography. Normally I use a bellows which allows infinite adjustment of the distance from the back of the lens to the sensor, but is best suited for still life shots of flowers, and a subject distance in inches. Since my new favorite closeup lens is the 200-500mm with a 2x converter, physically and electronically the bellows is not an option, so in this case I tried extension tubes. At 1000 mm the lens alone will focus to ~10’, with the extension tubes it is about 7’, so just a little gain in subject distance.

With this setup, everything has to come together at once, proper focus, which I find to be incredibly difficult, sufficient light, and subject/photographer preoccupation are prime. A major flaw is vignetting in the corners, but cropping takes care of that. No hand held, tripod mounted as the rig is 24” and 10+ lbs. Luckily the bee was drinking deeply and didn’t move, just long enough. This is the same position I shoot all my birdbath photos, through two panes of glass from my family room!
