I was listening to sports talk radio earlier today, mostly because I like sports and commercial radio in this area is hot garbage, besides the fact that I have an older vehicle which is not equipped with internet. Anyway, the hosts were talking about Brittney Greiner' release. One of the hosts mentioned that her "partner" was with President Biden when he announced Greiner's freedom. I started yelling at the radio that ,"The woman is Greiner's wife!" Sounds like maybe this fella isn't quite "woke" yet. I do not remember the hosts name right now, but him and another guy were subbing for the regular host.
Score one for the good guys
In Iowa's eighty first congressional district, election denier and obvious repuke, Luana Stoltenberg was originally declared the winner on election night. However, after noticing some discrepancies in some absentee ballots, a recount was ordered and lo and behold, Democrat Craig Cooper actually managed to eke out a six vote victory.
The 81st district is mostly located in Northwest Davenport and I believe tends to lean repuke. And our County Auditor, who I think was forced to order a recount is a repuke. So anyway, good guys gain a seat in the Iowa House. For more info, one could likely go to www.kwqc.com or any of the local TV station websites. The local newspaper has a paywall so don't go there.
So when did this (once great) state become part of the confederacy?
I mean the whole state is red except the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids corridor and part of the DesMoines area. And even there, repukes got elected. It may be time to move to Illinois as I live on the border and have many relatives there.
Voted early today
Very shortly after the polls opened. And even at 7:15 am, there was a steady stream of people. I guess a lot of people were voting before they went to work, and a few of them were older folks, like me, who wake up early. Anyway, I had zero problems voted entirely Democratic, and noticed something. Every race had the repuke candidates listed first. DeJear comes before Reynolds alphabetically, so they can't claim alphabetical order. I suppose the repukes may be counting on people being in a hurry and not paying attention. If so, it didn't work with me.
Good grief the magats are stupid
I realize this is preaching to the choir here but I thought I'd tell about something that happened earlier today.
I went out to a local watering hole to watch some football, drink a couple of beers and have a burger. The NFL is promoting (gasp!) actually voting on November 8 and teams are offering up their stadiums to help out. And sure enough some magat said " goddam, even the NFL is woke. What's going on? Maybe it's time to say screw them."
People were looking at him very strangely and one guy said. " Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out." The guy finished his food and he and his buddies left shortly thereafter. The place was far better off without him in there. But me and a few other guys agreed that he was a stone cold idiot.

Or gain seats in the House and/or Senate? I mean if that happens, the rw media will be completely unprepared and will likely make lame excuses. Instead of saying that people are wising up and kicking trumpites to the curb.
Oh my heavens! Biden used a curse word!
So President Joey Brandon said that "Nobody fucks with a Biden." And the righties are up in arms about it. Or at least the fact that it wasn't tfg or one of their idiot heroes that cussed. Because, you know, Biden.
I think it endears him to most of us commoners because cmon, who hasn't dropped an f bomb or two in their lives? Righties, just shut the fuck up and let a real man deal with your foul ups.
With all the volunteer help going to Florida
I wonder how many of them are Liberals or gay people or immigrants or some other group of people desatan hates? I mean there are many out of state people helping out and odds are that some of them are undoubtedly groups of people that desatan hates. And yet, there they are, helping the people that need help. I suppose the irony is lost on desatan but hopefully reasonable people will see it and at least vote Blue.

Or not. I don't feel particularly free when I have to live in fear that child may either not make it to school or not make it home. I don't feel free when we can go to a bar/restaurant for beer and chicken wings and there's a sign on the door that say,s"no weapons allowed." I'm a man and I don't feel free when a woman has no control over her own body. I don't feel free when someone tries to tell me what to read or not read.
I dont feel free when I'm paying a lot of money for needed medical treatment, especially when virtually every other country on earth (at least developed countries) has the same treatment for free. I don't feel free when the constitutionally guaranteed right to free and fair elections is taken away.
So you trumpite bastards can kiss my fat ass. I'm going to fight you tooth and nail. It is not a fight I intend to lose.

How can you be anti woman when you are a woman? Why would you vote against your own gender and interests?
I'm a man through and through, old, fat, and bald. And I was always raised to respect all people, women included. Which is why I refuse to call my wife. " The ol' lady". Which is why I support a woman's right to choose what she does with her own body.
I guess all I can really say is go fuck yourself. See, if you don't have any self respect, then I have difficulty respecting you.
