No Bill Maher Booker and Trump were not saying the same thing

More and more Maher is revealing himself to be a rich, entitled, out of touch white guy.

Any more debates like last night and Trump will be re-elected.

Dems attacking Dems will only damage the eventual nominee, whomever that is. That will only help Trump in the long run. We saw this 4 years ago and should not let it happen again.

The 2020 election is too important for our future

for litmus tests, pet issues and other petty differences.

There is only one political party that can challenge Trump and the GOP. It's not the Green party. It is not the Socialist Party. It is the Democratic party. We all need to support the Democratic party as strongly as is possible until the elections.

That means not withholding donations to the DNC because you think the Dems in Congress are not moving quick enough on impeachment. Refusing to work for local candidates because you don't like the climate change plank in the convention platform. Or staying home on election because the nominee isn't perfect or pure enough for you.

We have lost elections in the past because of silly things like this. But 2020 is far too important to the future of our country for anyone to sit on their ideological high horse.

Her school, Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., posted a picture of her graduating class on Instagram and Facebook, showing Sasha, 18, in the second row from the back, fourth from the left.

The Instagram post featured a quote from the 2019 commencement speaker, Sheila Johnson, plus congratulations.

"Life has never been about you or about me. Life and all that matters within it has always been about us.

Bill Maher accuses Hillary Clinton of Obstruction of Justice Part 2

Just as a follow up to this thread: https://www.democraticunderground.com/100212179358

Look who is now praising Maher:

Sean Hannity Offers Praise to Bill Maher for Clinton Obstruction Comments

By Josh Feldman

Fox News’ Sean Hannity tonight gave a “hat tip” to Bill Maher for comments he made Monday night about Hillary Clinton‘s emails.

Maher was on CNN talking with Chris Cuomo about his concerns regarding 2020 media coverage when he reflected back on the 2016 race and said the coverage of Clinton’s emails was overblown.

He did add that she was a “terrible candidate” and said, “She committed obstruction of justice.

Pelosi on Trump insults: 'I'm done with him'

Pelosi on Trump insults: 'I'm done with him'

By Clare Foran and Ashley Killough, CNN

(CNN)House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told CNN's Manu Raju on Tuesday that she's "done" with President Donald Trump but would not say whether she told Democrats behind closed doors that she'd rather see Trump "in prison."

"I'm done with him," Pelosi told Raju at the Fiscal Summit from the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.

"I don't even want to talk about him," she said, adding, "My stock goes up every time he attacks me, so what can I say, but let's not spend too much time on that because that's his victory, the diverter-in-chief, the diverter-of-attention-in-chief."

Tensions between Pelosi and Trump have escalated in the past week after Pelosi reportedly told Democratic leaders in private that she wants to see the President "in prison." When asked about whether she made the remarks, Pelosi said she would keep what she told fellow Democrats behind closed doors private.

Bill Maher accuses Hillary Clinton of Obstruction of Justice

Bill Maher on CNN: ‘Terrible Candidate’ Hillary Clinton ‘Committed Obstruction of Justice’ By ‘Smashing Up’ Phones and Hard Drives

By Josh Feldman

Bill Maher spoke with CNN’s Chris Cuomo tonight about the 2020 Democratic field––which he (and basically everyone else) thinks is too large––and his concerns about whether the Democrats can beat President Donald Trump in 2020.
...

He acknowledged that “Hillary was a terrible candidate,” and Cuomo said Clinton “didn’t help the situation with the emails in terms of how she handled it with her answers and her actions.”

“Absolutely, right,” Maher said. “And she committed obstruction of justice. Trump did, I think, in worse fashion, but, you know, I mean, smashing up your phones and your hard drives…”

Once again Maher parrots a right wing talking point.

"Identity Politics" is a GOP talking point used to smear Democrats

Why does Bill Maher keep parroting it?
