Something Happened In A Classified Comey Briefing That Has Democrats Fuming Jan 13, 2017

All Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) would say about the meeting was that Comey “has no credibility.”

Rep. John Delaney (D-Md.) wouldn’t get into the details about what was discussed in the classified meeting, but said many questions remain unanswered.

“It’s hard to comment on these meetings. So much of this whole thing has been handled badly,” he said. “I’m interested to see whether any information comes out about any coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. I’m hoping at some point we get a final answer on that.”

Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) called the briefing “one of the most substantial” meetings he has ever attended.

My bet is they were briefed on Flynn at that meeting. The reason the repubs are silent now is because they've known for weeks about Flynn and had already made the decision to circle the wagons when the story broke.

Does that fit the known timeline?

Such a payment might violate the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, which prohibits former military officers from receiving money from a foreign government without consent from Congress. Thank you so much for the hearts

Í care for my mom who lives with me and has advanced Alzheimer's. It can get pretty lonely. I found DU right after the terrible, awful thing happened in November and it has been a sanity saver. I enjoy all the wonderful posts and they help me feel connected to the rest of the world. Love my DUers.

So I'm hanging at my favorite pizza/craft beer pub

The bartender asked me if I wanted to get some pizza and I told her the bathroom scale has not been kind recently so I was going to pass. We joked about how those scales lie and I said maybe I have a Republican scale and we laughed and laughed.
