destroyer - a savage night at the opera (studio-2011) would've been at home on 70's AOR stations

Killer track, with awesome production/sound quality ... sounds like Roxy Music with Al Stewart doing a guest spot on vocals ...

Tell me all your thoughts on God ... cause I'd really like to meet her

and ask her why we're who we are ...

This one takes me back. Pet Your Friends was actually a really solid mid-90's alt-rock album. Played the hell out of it at the time.

And of course the other hit off the album ... classic ... the outro is badass ... pretty sure it's longer on the CD ...

A bonus album track that friggin' ROCKS ASS ... these dudes could play, I'm telling ya.

This one is also pretty killer, also from the same disc ...

Anyone ever had a kitty with 'gallop rhythm' in the heart?

My boys pushing 17yo and the vet told me at his checkup (first in over a year) earlier in the week that she's hearing a gallop rhythm. I've looked it up on the web and understand there's some drugs that could help like diuretics and various other stuff, just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with it?

Vets are only taking emergency cases and all that seems wrong with him is his eating has gotten finicky lately and he's eating less as a result. And he's sleeping more.

Expect we'll start hearing about a Massive Drop in Home Sales real soon here ...

I can't go into details but let's just say I have access to the transaction counts of a pretty major entity in the residential real estate field, and MAN ... things are slowing WAY WAY down in the last month.

As you would expect.

Where I would normally see numbers like 250-500 homes sold in such and such time period ... I'm seeing ... 20-40, and that's 2 weeks ago.

Now, these numbers I get have a lag time so the numbers over the last week that are in the SINGLE DIGITS ... will grow as the contracts come in. But I'm expecting them to grow to like 15-25. Instead of 250-500.

So ... man ... I'm here to tell ya almost nobody has been buying homes for going on almost a month now. Sales are down 85-90%.

It's bad. Real bad.

if you didn't get high and listen to this shit in the 70's ...

just gotta say ... you missed out, cause it was super friggin' trippy back then, esp. on a great system ... or better yet, headphones ... his 1976 record Oxygene and 1978's follow-up Equinoxe (which I still have on vinyl bought in a hong kong record store in 1980) were like nothing you'd heard. But you'd be soon to hear LOTS of stuff like it in the near future ...

Okay I didn't get high until 1980 technically, but ...

Who wants to toss some salad?

The Chef Salad I just made, that is!

As you can see, I don't muck about when it comes to the food I make ... even when it's just for me

Some authorities saying that you should NOT stop taking your BP meds (ACE inhibitors) out of CV fear

https://www.escardio.org/Councils/Council-on-Hypertension-%28CHT%29/News/position-statement-of-the-esc-council-on-hypertension-on-ace-inhibitors-and-ang

The Council on Hypertension of the European Society of Cardiology wish to highlight the lack of any evidence supporting harmful effect of ACE-I and ARB in the context of the pandemic COVID-19 outbreak.

The Council on Hypertension strongly recommend that physicians and patients should continue treatment with their usual anti-hypertensive therapy because there is no clinical or scientific evidence to suggest that treatment with ACEi or ARBs should be discontinued because of the Covid-19 infection.
