Our world came crashing down yesterday.

After beating kidney cancer AND Stage 4 Lymphoma, wifey has been diagnosed with Leukemia, probably caused by the chemo from her Lymphoma treatment.
She/We are devastated. We went to the doctor's office thinking that she would be treated for a blood disorder with oral medicines and left knowing that she will have to undergo allogeneic stem cell transplant.
To top it all off, her treatment, which will last 3 months (one complete month in the hospital and two months in a apartment adjascent to the hospital) is 4 hours away from our home.
So, my question to the group, does anyone have any suggestions on how to acquire a "caregiver" for the two months she will need one at her side 24/7? We have no one to turn to and will need to try to HIRE someone to assist us. Agencies, gov't assistance or any references would help tremendously.
To be honest, we are both still in shock. We thought we had beat her cancers ( and have because her kidney cancer and lymphoma are clear) and now this. It is almost more than we can bear.

Please help me understand something about Roe

It is now up to the States right? As of this moment, as I understand it, the STATE will make the decision on whether abortion is provided in that particular State. So, why would it be illegal for someone to go to a state where it IS legal to get an abortion? Gambling is illegal in my backward-ass state, but I can drive to Florida and buy lottery tickets. It is not illegal. Why would getting an abortion in a State where it IS legal, be illegal?

Thanks for your help in understanding this.

(I obviously understand that it SHOULD be legal and safe EVERYWHERE)

Reading between the lines re Deshaun Watson

One week after a scathing report from the New York Times accused Deshaun Watson of using at least 66 female massage therapists over a 17-month span, the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback continued to proclaim his innocence.

Fielding questions from reporters Tuesday morning in his first public comments since March, Watson struck the same tone that he has maintained since the accusations first surfaced.

“Like I’ve said, I’ve never assaulted anyone, never harassed anyone, never disrespected anyone, never forced anyone to do anything,” Watson said.

I know that first sentence is not what he "actually" said, but that's my biased takeaway.
