Who ordered this Half Time Show?
Sorry, I liked the old days when the music was manufactured on the spot by the musicians.
God, I date myself.
Cool, a few licks of Bertha during a SB exit to commercial....
a nod to San Francisco, perhaps?
Our future depends on immigrants.
Old, white guy here. Trust me, we need all the help we can get when we start getting serious about climate change.
I don't think we waste resources in the Southern cities, because they will be under water, but that's Republican rule they can thank. Don't really care about Miami Beach, but I do care about every metropolitan/cultural center that face the ocean and are fighting climate change..
Sobering fact, the Google tells me that Florida's average 'Above Sea Level' measurement is 6 feet. Good luck!
What was that Trump ad? Saw the last few seconds...
Know what's the best part about the Super Bowl?
The football game. Logged in at 6:35 and I am enjoying the actual game - two very good teams with 2 very good quarterbacks playing this game.
<editor note: long time Pats fan, but love to watch a well balanced SuperBowl.>
Amtrak Downeaster set new ridership record in 2019
https://www.pressherald.com/2020/01/31/amtrak-downeaster-set-new-ridership-record-in-2019/Taking the Downeaster to Boston is the way to go. No tolls, no Parking, no Stress. And they have a clubcar to boot! The pic at the link is the Saco, ME Station which is the one I've used, mostly. Site was smartly located on Factory Island, where huge brick texile factories of yesteryear are being converted to apartments, condo's, and new small businesses. The complex sits directly on the Saco River where the freshwater meets the ocean water.
Now that I live in Central Maine, I really wish the Downeaster would expand to Waterville, Newport, and Bangor. Newport would be a key location as Rte. 2, the primary East-West highway runs through this town. And it would be an easy 20 min. drive from my home.
