Now that Kavanaugh has been sworn in, I'm curious if anyone is feeling the way I do.

There were many articles on websites and many people saying that the Kavanaugh nomination was in big trouble and he would never be seated on the SC. Looking back now, I don’t think it was ever in jeopardy. I hate when we’re given political false hope. I just wanted it to be true and fell for it. Now p.o.’d and so disappointed. Not cynical enough maybe.

Just overheard one side of a phone conversation in a store. It was right after my husband called

me to tell me of the new developments in the Kavanaugh nomination. She said, “I just heard. Yes I saw her. She made me so sick to my stomach I wanted to throw up. Still do. She is disgusting.” There was such venom in her voice. It’s amazing to me how cold and heartless some people can be to a victim. You’d at least think women would have a little more sensitivity to sexual abuse claims since almost all of us have experienced it in one form or another. A few minutes later, I had the bright idea of having my own pretend phone conversation near her and it would be very different from hers. But I couldn’t find her. Wish I could think faster on my feet.

Our son had his DNA tested through 23 and Me and it showed that he had a small percentage of

Ashkenazi Jewish DNA. My spouse and I had our DNA done by Ancestry and no Jewish DNA showed up. Can anyone explain how this can happen? PS we are his parents, and no, there’s not a chance that he could have a different father.
