In baking, 1/4 cup plain yogurt substitutes for one egg.

The egg industry price gouging could come back to bite them.

There are many other egg substitutes out there, as well.

And many people are investigating becoming vegan....

My point is, we can learn to get by without eggs.

Freaked myself out last night....

I've been experiencing certain "symptoms," and so last night I looked up the symptoms for something I thought it could be. Well, there were too many matches for my comfort, and I didn't sleep most of the night worrying about the worst outcome.

I've had an appointment scheduled for some time with a major clinic in the middle of next month, but last night was my first foray into the darkness of what the possibilities could be....

Did I mention I freaked out?

I didn't have such a bad day today in spite of the lack of sleep....I think from here on out, I'll just leave google alone for diagnostic purposes....

Deer get high on nitrous oxide (laughing gas) from decomposing leaf pile....

Tomorrow I begin another journey around the sun....

And so today, I bought myself a couple of presents in celebration of that next journey, and I'm spending this afternoon cooking in preparation for a luncheon I'm having for a few friends tomorrow.

Feeling gratitude for having "found" DU years ago and for many blessings in life. Here's to good days ahead!!

At this point, Democrats should decide who the moderate R is that they will vote for

and, in consultation with other moderate Rs, nominate him/her. Or let the moderate Rs do the nominating....

Nip this talk of TFG for Speaker in the bud. They should never let it gain any momentum....

Negotiating with a two-year-old.

Everyone knows it doesn't work. This is what we're seeing on the House floor.....

If they're coming back at 8:00 p.m., are they planning an all-nighter?

...thinking they'll gain the majority vote if enough Dems leave?

You've already tried that strategy. How'd that work out, Kev?

Still no movement in the vote tally.

Same as the last two rounds....IIRC.
