tfg knows that his only hope of not coming across as a total criminal loser during the campaign next year is if
there is a split screen of an impeachment trial vs. his own criminal trial(s). Literally. The media will be obliged to carry both.
The R's are conducting the "investigation" of Biden now so that once they impeach (of course they will), the Senate trial will fall at the same time as the upcoming trials for tfg. It will be an exercise in diverting the public's attention.
On a Shark Tank rerun last night, I enjoyed seeing the back story of a product I've owned and
very much appreciated using for several years now....Got to see who the creator is, her pitch to the Sharks, and the deal she struck with Lori Granier, who got the product on QVC, which is where I bought it. The product is called "Safe Grabs" - basically silicone hot pads/trivet/microwave liner/etc.

Driving by one of the motels in my small town today....It has recently changed hands; they only have a banner type sign up with the new name. I'm not sure if the attached restaurant/bar is even open yet under the new management. It was mid afternoon, so no cars in the lot, but smack dab in the middle of the restaurant's parking lot was a minivan with a concession-type tent beside it, and all kinds of TRUMP merchandise hanging about....Featured most prominently was a t-shirt with a picture of the courtroom angry orange mug on it and the words "Never Surrender" underneath.
Tomorrow, I will be calling 1. the motel management to complain; 2. city hall to see if that kind of thing is allowed, if a permit is required, and if that seller has one.

That's why I'm going to switch parties to R and caucus against Trump. I'll likely try to go to party meetings and talk against him and maybe even work on behalf of another candidate....not sure which yet...
I write this after just hearing Jen Saki and Rachel tonight talking about the danger that Trump's candacy has become, particularly in the last 48 hours.
I implore other DUers who are in Iowa to do the same. We can stop him here!
I heard a good explanation as to why it is that Rs in places like Ohio are doubling down on abortion rights.
In a word gerrymandering. They can keep hammering on the issue and try to do an end-run around the recent decision because they don't have to worry about answering to the voters. THEIR voters will still re-elect them....
Will some of the legal eagles here please explain how it is that she has standing?

Happy to report that in my small Iowa town the Libertarian
who proudly journeyed to take part in the J6 protests got soundly defeated in his run for mayor. Wasn't even close....
