@TheRickWilson is ill.

He's been criss crossing around the country doing Lincoln Project work. I wish him a speedy recovery.

No one gets under TSF's skin like Rick. Godspeed Mr. Wilson.

The Angriest, Least Compassionate, and Worst State of the Union Speech

The RNC is down to $8.7 million in cash,

when Lara got there, the cupboard was bare, but still the poor Donald got some.

It is common for presidential nominees to assert control of the party apparatus, but the abrupt leadership change orchestrated by Donald Trump during an election year reflects rising frustration with the GOP’s recent fortunes. The most recent campaign finance reports showed the Republican National Committee’s cash on hand at a historically low $8.7 million, compared with $24 million at the Democratic National Committee, which was already acting as an arm of President Biden’s reelection campaign. Biden’s campaign ended January with $56 million in cash, compared with $30.5 million for Trump.

Joe Biden predicted a Republican 'epiphany'.

Yeah. They had an epiphany last night: A naked view of the abyss.

How Joe Biden went from predicting a Republican 'epiphany' to declaring war on the 'MAGA Party'

WASHINGTON — Three years ago, candidate Joe Biden boldly predicted that once he defeated Donald Trump, Republicans would have an “epiphany,” free themselves from the shackles of the far-right and work cooperatively with Democrats toward consensus.

“The thing that will fundamentally change with Donald Trump out of the White House — not a joke — is you will see an epiphany occur among many of my Republican friends,” Biden said May 14, 2019, on the campaign trail in New Hampshire, adding that Republicans were too "intimidated" by Trump to compromise.

This week, President Biden rolled out a new message labeling the GOP a “MAGA Party”

“MAGA Republicans — ‘make America great again’ Republicans,” he said Wednesday at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser, carrying the same message in speeches throughout the week. “They’re the most extreme party. And that’s what the Republican Party is now... They run the show, the MAGA Republicans.”

Try heckling Joe Biden?

You would think the GOP Congressional hypocritters would have learnt their lesson by now but no (surprise, surprise) they had another go.

The look of relish and delight on the President's face said it all. The man has had (literally) decades of experience of taking down on hecklers, and when they tried it on, he pounced.

The result was a spectacular own goal on Border Security for the Republicans. But no doubt they will try their luck again in 2025.

"I don't give them Hell. I just tell the truth about them, and they think it's Hell."

Harry S. would be proud of President Biden tonight. Bravo Mr. President.

"The world is laughing at us"

"Our county is known as a joke" "The country is dying" "The American dream is dead" [and only I can fix it?]

I can't see how making people feel really bad about America is a winning strategy, but what would I know? I've been wrong too many times.

Trump's 3rd Term: 2028 - 2032

Suppose that if Trump gets back into power, he is not going to give it up. (Yeah I know, ridiculous right?) How could he do that?

My question - is there anything that could prevent him from running as VP in 2028, and having a poodle at the top of the ticket. How could that work, if at all?

2024 Big Lie: 70% of Americans don't want a Biden v Trump rematch.

The Breakdown: 70% (38% Dems, + 32% GOP) don't want a rematch in 2024.

The lie - it's fucking obvious. A Hallelujah of Dems don't want Trump in the race. Under any circumstances. Fuck an election with Trump on the ballot. Don't want.
