They’re urging a more cautious approach, which many local governments and school districts are already pursuing.

Discussions of trauma and mystery symptoms await in "Survivor Corps," where volunteers fact-check medical claims

Berrent was one of the first people in her hometown of Port Washington, New York, to get COVID-19. Back then, in early March 2020, only immunocompromised and seniors were believed to be high-risk; hence, as a 46-year-old yoga practitioner and runner, Berrent was "shocked" when she woke up with a 103-degree fever and respiratory infection — symptoms that strongly suggested she had coronavirus, which was later confirmed by a test.

"You don't even think that you're going to be the first person on your block to catch the plague, but you know, life comes at you fast," Berrent mused.

COVID-19 front line workers have no workers' comp guarantees

https://www.localmemphis.com/mobile/article/news/health/coronavirus/covid-front-line-workers-comp/507-b06197fa-eda9-4411-a59b-3f4d86ccb156

Debate over workers' comp in the states is part of a much larger national discussion about liability for virus exposure.

Lauded for their service and hailed as everyday heroes, essential workers who get the coronavirus on the job have no guarantee in most states they'll qualify for workers' compensation to cover lost wages and medical care.

Fewer than one-third of the states have enacted policies that shift the burden of proof for coverage of job-related COVID-19 so workers like first responders and nurses don't have to show they got sick by reporting for a risky assignment.

Anyone using Ring cameras?

I have a neighbor (disgusting deplorable redneck) who has vandalized my AC unit.

I also have a Ring camera, but I have concerns regarding recent news about privacy.

Are Ring cameras safe for outdoor use?

TYIA!
