He is a coward. He waited until his disciple, Lt Governor, Spencer Cox was elected before he took action.
Herbert has known about the terrible conditions in Utah and especially Utah County for weeks, and was too cowardly to take action before the election.
Utah County is one of the VERY WORST REDNECK counties in the country. They stormed a county commission meeting and disrupted it to the point they had to close the meeting, because the idiots refused to wear masks, or even to consider having their children wear masks to return to school. FUCKING IDIOTS!
Please do not applaud his actions. He has been warned for weeks about the spreading pandemic. He is just as stupid as the other Republican Governors.
I spent 69 years in Utah, and with very few exceptions, they voted against their interest almost every time...meaning they voted Republican.
I am so glad to be gone.
