Let's have a brief discussion about the difference between Democrats and Republicans...

The Republican ex-president, DJT served for 4 years, and almost every month of that 4 years, he promised he would release his "Infrastructure bill" with-in 2 weeks.

2 weeks came and went. No infrastructure bill. When asked about it...the answer was always "2 weeks".

In four years he NEVER released his infrastructure bill

Fast forward...To June 11, 2023.

On that date a tragic accident caused one of the most heavily traveled interstates in the country to be closed down.

Within hours the Democratic US Sec of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg was on the scene with the officials of the state and city.

With the promise Pete made to the Democratic Governor of Pennsylvania, and the Democratic Mayor of Philadelphia, and the hard work of hundreds of people, that road (one of the most heavily traveled on the east coast) re-opened TODAY, June 23, 2023.

12 days people...2 days less than TRUMPS PROMISED INFRASTRUCTURE BILL.

THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.

Today's enlightening thought...

History is not there for you to like or dislike.

It is there for you to learn from it.

Rick forgot his 25th anniversary on Thursday...

and his wife was furious.

She told him "Tomorrow morning I want to see something in the driveway that goes from 0-180 in under 10 seconds. It better be there".

The next morning she got out of bed, looked out the window at the driveway and there was a gift-wrapped box in the middle of the driveway.

She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Rick has been missing since Friday.

I think that if the Fed's just pulled up in front of Bedminster with a semi pulling a trailer with a back-hoe on the trailer and just left it there until Tuesday evening, that could (hopefully) push his blood pressure over 350.

Ok, all you right wing jerks...tell me again how the US is the greatest country in the world...

As many of you know, we are full-time RVer's.

Right now, we're in Vulcan, Alberta, a town of approximately 2000 people, about 180 miles north of the border, and they have FREE INTERNET for those in their campgrounds. It isn't lightning fast, but, it functions well, and it's FREE.

Remind me again why the US is "number 1"?

Why can't we have the nice things that others have?

Would it have anything to do with Republicans???

FYI, we love Canada, the people are SO nice, and the country is beautiful.

And...as a added bonus...NO TRUMP FLAGS.

I have some REALLY GOOD NEWS that I should have started telling you about 3 months ago...

We are full time RV'ers, and have driven the road from Lake Mead rec area north to I-15 dozens of times in the last 8 years. This road is NV state route 169, and from 2016 to 2021 there were literally hundreds of Trump flags flying from almost every house and business in Overton and Logandale, the town just north of Overton.

We drove that road in late March of this year, and saw 1 (ONE) only one, one, one Trump flag in that area.

I thought of posting that then, but lazy took over, and I didn't. Sorry!

BUT KNOW...even better news.

We left a campground in Idaho Falls this morning and drove 260 miles towards Helena Montana. We spent about 6 weeks in western Montana 2 years ago, and it was all Trump flags, tents selling Trump merchandise, and stickers and flags on EVERY pickup truck we saw.

We're still just south of Helena, but...

WE HAVE NOT SEEN ONE TRUMP FLAG OR STICKER SINCE WE LEFT IDAHO FALLS!

I really don't want to get my hopes up too much, but I believe this is the beginning of the end for TFG.
