A person who is granted immunity cannot plead the 5th and must testify under oath. If they refuse they can be held in contempt and jailed.
The coup plotters involved too many people in their attempted coup. Prosecutors will have lots of people to choose from to grant immunity and get the information they need to bring down the top coup plotters.
As we know, the top coup plotters have and will take the 5th when forced to testify. They will claim some type of privilege in order to slow the process down. Prosecutors will most likely use immunity to get around that. They will not need their testimony.
As I was reading up on immunity I learned something that is very important and telling. If someone is granted immunity at the State level they also must get immunity at the federal level. The opposite is also true.
That tells us the prosecutors in the DOJ must be coordinating with the prosecutors in Georgia. They have to be on the same page. If they are not on the same page the prosecutors in Georgia could grant someone immunity that could jeopardize the DOJ investigation.
They are working together.
I bet Lindsey Graham didn't sleep well last night.
Lindsey cannot claim any kind of privilege. He did not work for Trump, he was not his lawyer and he is not a Senator from Georgia.
This could end his career and possible end in his indictment. He tried to interfere in the Georgia election, that is a felony.

Mark Meadows. Very interesting. Mark Meadows was a big part of Trumps infamous phone call and he was not subpoenaed? To me it looks like Meadows is a big target in both the Georgia and DOJ investigations.
When are we as a nation going to recognize the Trump/Republican voters are the real problem?
They are complete fucking idiots who constantly vote against their own best interests. They never hold the people they vote for accountable. They elect the worst among us to congress and the Whitehouse. They elect people who are completely unqualified, people who are corrupt, people with fascist views.
They swallow propaganda like pigs at a trough. They are delusional, they could not figure out the election was not stolen. Something any 10 year could figure out.
They support things that destroy things they care about, then blame the Democrats.
The Trump/Republican voters are the number one problem, number one threat in America.
Trump had the ability to attempt a coup for one reason only.
He knew his voters are complete fucking idiots. It is the Trump voters/Republican voters that are the problem in America.
The trump voters might as well elect mass shooters to congress.
What the fuck is the difference. Only the trump voters can stop mass shootings and they refuse to do it. That's the truth. Trump voters, Republican voters, do not hold their politicians accountable for anything and that is why our country is completely fucked up.
July 4th should serve as a reminder never to fall prey to hopelessness and defeatism.
When the founders signed the Declaration of Independence, they put their lives on the line. They never backed down during the war, even when things looked completely hopeless. They kept on fighting until tyranny was defeated.
Our Democracy is stronger than many people think it is. Today, we are facing tyranny once again and it will be defeated once again.
So when you hear people on the news say they fear we are going to lose our democracy, nothing is being done. Say Fuck Off and change the channel.
Every Trump voter is a coward. They are slaves to fear.
Their selfish, self serving fear is the very heart of MAGA, servitude to Trump.
People like the Trump voters can be angry, mean, violent, but they are not and never can be brave.
This is why the Trump voters will one day fade away to live in infamy. Cowards who turned their backs on their country.
If you attempt a coup with Trump, remember to get the pardon first.

If you voted for Trump, never admit again. Unless you want to become infamous for all time.
If someone who is attempting to steal an election, tells you the election was stolen. Do not believe them, if you do you will probably go to jail.
If you plan on attacking your own capital, remember, it is like shitting on your own living room floor. You just don't do it.
If someone tells you disinfectant cures covid, never listen to that person ever again and never ever vote for them. Never attempt a coup with them.
If you plan a coup with domestic terrorist organizations people will notice, don't do it.
If you plan on attacking your own capital, do not chant 1776 while holding a confederate flag, unless you want to be remembered as someone who is an imbecile when it come to history.
If you attempt a coup and get caught. Don't tell the news media exactly how you planned the coup.
If you attack your own capital and you are waiting for someone to tweet you so you know what to do next. You will probable go to jail.
