Don’t get me wrong the theocrat gives me the creeps and am not at all comfortable with him being in the position he’s in, and while I’ll be happy the day he has to give up the gavel, if the cult actually turns on him over this, removes him and forces another Speaker vote, that confirms they want to harm America and hamper the government and the people’s business.
We are watching a political party completely set itself on fire, while the rest of us are just hoping there’s no collateral damage.

It's clear the other party is mudslinging and is acting like they're on the Springer Show with all the infighting. Let them fight against each other. Even Gaetz condemned the way Markwayne Mullin acted and MAGA is in a hissy fit over the agreed CR that Ayatollah Johnson was a part of.
You have some Democrats voting to censure Congresswoman Tlaib, or maybe some who lean left not liking President Biden's stance on the Israel/Hamas war.
100% of the people on our side might not agree on every single thing on every single policy, and we don't have to, but we do have to come together when it matters most. And it matters most with what the alternative is offering for 2024. If they become united as a party, and we're divided, forget about us being in trouble as a party, the whole nation is in trouble.
If you are a constituent of at least one Democratic official in Congress, I encourage you to reach out and ask for party unison, because the other party can't govern their way out of a paper bag, and our side is the only one that can.
We can save America by staying together as a party, as a side, along with Independents and the few sane people of the other party who are repulsed by the Nazification of the MAGA movement.

Choice has won every time since Dobbs, both in red and blue states. Ohio, which has turned red, rejected a proposed six-week ban, but you think Virginians, which have voted blue in recent presidential elections, said no to forced birth because forced birth didn’t go far enough and instead voted for a blue legislature over 15 weeks (and I don’t trust Republicans, they might’ve wanted six weeks or a total ban.)

You’d think they’d start to get the message by now that the rest of this country is fed up with their crap.
But they’ll insist candidates weren’t MAGA enough and triple down.
They’ll also say it was rigged, but it’s hard to rig an election for the other side, say with Issue 1 and Issue 2, when you have a Republican Governor and Republican Secretary of State.
They’ll cry how Democrats want abortion up until birth, no restrictions, but the side of total abortion bans with no exceptions.
They’ll say abortion is a state issue while supporting candidates advocating for national abortion bans.
They have nothing they want to give - ban, ban, ban, take away, take away, take away. Ban abortion, ban marriage equality, abolish Medicare, abolish Social Security, cut safety nets, take away kids learning to love and respect people who are different in school.
And the freedom party who wants The Bible taught in schools, and the party of the Constitution who wants to install theocracy. The party of the Second Amendment who has an originalist reading of the first half of the amendment, but a textualist one of the second half.
The States Rights party who never advocates states rights for good and objects when states rights are used for good.
The party that loves the Constitution so much that they want a convention, they want to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments and violate the 26th Amendment, while the Second should be read and enforced to the tee, even though countless Americans are dead thanks to it.
They have no problem discrediting polls if our side is leading, but they’ll turn around and treat polls like gospel if they’re winning, and they’re always so arrogant and overconfident they’ll win.
And they keep losing elections because they demonize what few sane people are in their party in favor of complete lunatics who have a platform that everybody else rejects.

For all the geniuses who want to do away with NATO, with the UN, there’s been no World War since the UN’s creation after World War II. NATO is an important alliance and something we started during the years of the Cold War, with the Warsaw Pact being the equivalent to that.
I guess you’d rather have a third World War? I bet you’d do what you can to avoid the frontlines.
This is why is supporting Ukraine is important. I never once believed Ukraine was Putin’s end game. If Republicans let him have Ukraine, who does he go after next and when does he target the West?
We’ve been helping Ukraine without boots on the ground.
What if Putin for some reason decides to go after France, you know, the country that helped us win independence from Britain? This country’s had its successes and innovation, but not even America has done it all alone.
How would any country trust us again if this happened? Or if maybe a Democrat will win in 2028 and they’ll blamed for cleaning his mess up again.
Also, it’s not like there’s a love loss between the U.S. and Russia. I’m sure Putin would love to wipe us off the map. Not only might he be emboldened to try if he’s given appeasement (Hitler anyone?), but which allies would help us? Who would be around to help us?
