I made this account wayyy back on Election Night 2008, though I've known about DU since at least Bush/Kerry in 2004. I forgot about it, but on Election Night 2020, remembered I had an account, decided to see if it still existed - and it did which is very cool! So, I'm using it again after all this time, at this very crucial moment in our nation's history, as our precious democracy itself under the siege by who I believe I can now safely call the worst president, by far, in the history of this country, and his supporters, who are actively denying the legitimacy of the election and possibly the peaceful transfer of power. I hope we all get through this very dangerous moment in one piece.
