by the fact that James Eagan Holmes, is White- makes this less of a terrorism motive, or the fact that he was not Black, less thuggish, gives comfort to the mental illness scenario, which now makes it as an easy way to explain away the real motives of this senseless rampage. What I find most distressing is that this guy was studying- nueroscience? Really! I guess as a researcher of this field he could start with himself?
