I just went through an ovarian cancer scare. Had a high ca125 and a very very large ovarian cyst. It turned out to be a fast growing cystonoma (20 pounds when removed) and non-cancerous. Treatment has greatly improved over the years. Many now survive that wouldn't before. If they got it all and it hasn't spread, her prognosis should be good.
