A caddy isn't a player.

Manafort knows that Mueller would demand that Manafort reveal everything he knows (beyond Trump and going back into the old deals he made with various dictators and oligarchs going back decades - otherwise he knows Mueller would charge him with perjury) and if he did that, he'd be signing his own death warrant.
