to speak politely to Republicans?
We have a Jesuit pope who speaks out on behalf of the poor, on behalf of immigrants, on behalf of refugees, and he is viciously attacked by the right.
We had a Jesuit Congressional chaplain who basically said whatsoever you do for the least of my people that you do unto me, who basically said, please treat everyone the same when drawing up your tax bill. Devout Catholic, Paul Ryan, fired him.
Screw talking politely to Republicans it doesn't work.
