74. There ARE "lots of smart knowledgeable people in the Party," but unfortunately, the Democrats

are in the MINORITY in both the House, Senate (and SCOTUS as well)

So, since YOU raised the point, how could Congressional Democrats do anything that might
"Slow Down" anything the Repukes want to do in the House or Senate?

I'd really like to know, because if there IS some way the Dems could "slow it down"..that would be great, wouldn't it?

Meanwhile, instead of merely following Richard Painter's advice to "call GOP senators & try to change their minds"..we, as Democrats, need to UNITE.

Imo, Trump won mainly because the Democratic Party was NOT a united Democratic Party.
There was the "Hillary wing" and there was the "Bernie wing"
Many millions of Bernie Sanders supporters did not vote for HRC in November, 2016
Many of them voted for Jill Stein.
many of them just "gave up" after Hillary defeated Bernie, and won the nomination.

We need to get those Bernie supporters "back in the fold"

We, as Democrats, must UNITE against Eddie Munster, The Turtle, and Shitler himself.
We, as Democrats CAN take back control of both houses of Congress.
But we need all those millions of millennials who supported Bernie to join with those millions of other Democrats who supported Hillary..to UNITE, and together, take back control of Congress....Both Houses!

Republicans can only steal elections that are close.
Obama proved this in 2008 and 2012.

This fall, the mid-term elections can't be "close"..because if they are, then the GOP will steal another election.

We CAN'T let that happen!

You can call me a "defeatist" because I don't agree with Richard Painter.
But you can't call me "defeatist" based on what I've laid out here.

A divided Democratic Party will not do well come November 6th.

A UNITED Democratic Party can and will take back control of both houses of Congress come November 6th.

Does that sound like "defeatism" to you?
