(62,536 posts)Because when you're being attacked usually that's what you do. Add in screaming, foul language, and it looks like they're "equally" bad regardless of who instigated. And then if it didn't start before things escalated there is opportunity for obfuscation (as is oh so common with these folks) to muddle what really happened.
The video acts as protection against libel / slander and as another poster said it may be released after all, I just think it's probably not as one sided as it may appear, else it'd be released. They can always blur out anything (and indeed if it was the way you portray, that would have a good effect toward rallying people to her cause).
It remains fascinating to me how quickly people are coming to this dudes defense and calling her a liar though. I'm not saying in any way the video is a lie, just that there are good reasons not to release it.
