I think "love" is overstated. The enjoyed and supported his rhetoric and KNOW they won't get that from the other side, so they get stuck with voting R or capital L but the latter is a losers' game.

Their vote wasn't so much that they thought the moron was a good idea, just that they are so indoctrinated in their 2 dimensional philosophy that they held their nose and voted that way.

I do concur about their ugliness, however.
