With Gardner (GOP from a state that also has a Democratic or independent as senator) as the model, there are nine obvious possibilities:

Shelby (unlikely, but Alabama elected Doug Jones);
McSally
Gardner
Collins
Daines
Portman
Toomey
Capito
Johnson

After that, probably those with economies that are tied to non-defense federal spending, or who have shown some level of independence from the national GOP, or are from purplish states, or are positioning themselves as "post-Trump" Republicans ... Romney, obviously; Murkowski comes to mind; Rubio, if not Scott; maybe one of the Georgians; Sasse, possibly; etc.

It's within striking distance, actually, and Trump looks - and is - weaker and weaker every day. Other than those who may actually be compromised by the same people that control Trump (Graham, Paul, Cruz, etc.), it depends on how many Romney can carry into the "GOP Libre" caucus.
