This reeks of right wingers doing the same thing as those who were trying to claim ownership of rain water in Bolivia. Maybe it is just part of an onslaught meant to panic Americans in so many different ways that people feel financial anxiety and thus vote more intuitively as the science says they will and less on the facts. Facts would include voting for their own economic best interest. Republican hate fact based voters. They like the financial anxiety..drug, student loans, bad healthcare, anything to put people into voting using cognitive shortcuts and feelings of anger. Anything to keep the middle class using logic.
