(10,281 posts)You know, the more time passes, the more I think Obama might have really been an advocate for imperial america.
Hear me out...he grew up in the age of the fall of the Berlin Wall, and I think maybe he thought that an imperial america could be both good and bad for the world...depending on how it was managed. If he had access to all this (and I can practically gaurantee he did)
How in the hell does his Iran nuclear deal look like anything BUT an imperial counter to SA nuke ambitions, in the same way that the backing of Iraq was an imperial counter to Iran as it existed in 1985. I think he understood the over/under much better than his predecessors, and his intentions were for sure much more Noble, but still...in light of this information, it's kinda hard to see that action on his part completely OUTSIDE an idea of Imperial America(n) Power.
And I would have to agree with him. However he was gonna get there, the government of Iran seems much more inclined to be LESS A MORAL ENEMY at this point, than that family of ruthless barbarians running SA.
opinions on my opinion are welcome, as always.
