I mean honestly, what you say is literally actually true if the projections of climate scientists are correct. Not just in a political sense, but in the sense of physical existence.

So I guess we have to assume that the average person has the attention span of a gnat, and needs to be coddled and told what to think constantly, and needs some kind of shiny thing to try to keep their attention on whatever subject (which is probably impossible anyway b/c people generally don't want to know about anything that might inconvenience them).
