I don't think she's interested in impeachment, and I think impeachment would be more likely if she and other Dem leaders were actively supporting and pushing for it. Maybe you are going to dismiss that as too simplistic, but this whole idea that she is playing coy in order to reverse psychology everyone into supporting it seems far fetched. She did the same thing with W and we can see how that worked out. "Anyone with a fairly decent political IQ" can reason that announcing that impeachment was "off the table" and then investigating anyway didn't lead to impeachment.

This week Justin Amash became the first tea party nutjob to beat Pelosi to the reasonable stance on impeachment. Never thought I would see that happen. I wish it were more surprising. If this country doesn't make it out of the trump years it'll be because the Democratic leadership sniveled and wrung it's hands while Rome burned.
