but the sheer numbers should prevail. people bled to end slavery, for civil rights, to end the war in Vietnam. if there is a groundswell from the people, their power will take the day.
personally i'll volunteer, i'm already pretty old and so want future generations to have a shot at decent lives.
my lasting takeaway from reading the People's History of the United States is that the real power rests in the people. he may want to turn this country into another north korea, but the percentage of totally brainwashed people is too small.
