he cares about his image during a catastrophic weather occurrence.

Losing some of the support from Fox is scary. His base watch Fox, and if Fox says something truthful about him his base might believe it! He better scramble and act like he cares about something.

I’m sure he already has the list of things he can claim were destroyed by the hurricane so he can get his hands on FEMA money.
