1. Their ideology cannot appeal to minorities. It was never designed to appeal to any demographic other than white people. Tbey kind of acknowledged that in their 2012 post mortem but then they never were able to muster anything.

2. Obstruction was pure desperation along with voter suppression.

3. Along came Bannon and Orange Hitler, tapping into a demographic that was previously disaffected, to supplement their dying demographic. And why not accept Putin's help?

It was a perfect storm amd just enough to win by a small margin. It will not be repeated as 2018 proved. We will turn out and they know it.

But what choice do they have? Moderate? Become reasonable partners in governing our nation?

To do that they have to become Democrats.

I think they do care. They have no plan.
