9. Most of the intolerance expressed by people is rooted in fundamentalist conservative

ideas and expression.
The farther right the person is, the less they respect the differences between people; the less they tolerate religious, social, racial, and sexual differences; the more willing they are to force people to their way of thinking.
And, the more callous they are to the suffering of people they identify as being outside their acceptable boundaries.
They are also more inclined to reshape the basic teachings of their religions...it's as if they think they know more than God, or the founder of their own religion.
