(128,970 posts)but it's been mostly blocked by the GOP.
However the shocker of the week was that the GOP legislature and the governor actually came to a compromise to start making some changes in our voting where the (D)s gave up straight-ticket voting (much to the consternation of many Democrats here in Philly) in exchange for "no-excuse" mail-in absentee voting! ACTUALLY just read it and apparently this is allowing regular "mail-in voting" too - up to 50 days before (and you can be put on a list to always get your ballot by mail)!

I remember doing telephone town halls with my State Senator and always asking about whether anything was happening with "early voting", etc and here we are!
