24. The VA is regularly trashed becuase it is socialized medicine

It practices preventative medicine, and !horror of horrors! funds its own research.
Because most of the veteran population is older, what the VA is doing proactively RE Covid-19 is precisely right, and frankly ought to be the model for other healthcare institutions.
VA employees are also restricted from travel for the next 30 days, unless they can show the travel to be "essential".
