The Dark Queen could already have died from the virus, and the Emperor would take over her Twitter account and pretend that she's still alive, all to keep him from challenging his own brand. Donnie REALLY doesn't care about anyone else, and that includes the Dark Queen and the rest of his brood. Responding with compassion to a family illness is completely out of character, and Donnie knows it. So he'll deny, minimize, distract, and attack instead of responding to a family emergency because the optics won't look good to his base, or so he thinks. Donnie is NOT BONDED with anyone, so we can't expect that he'll "pivot" into a compassionate husband and father. He'd fret some if Princess Sparkleboobs got the sickness, but that would only be for the loss of his plaything and the public's perception that he must respond and protect his little girl (as an extension of himself), and NOT because she's suffering.
