(12,410 posts)I live in the Keys and we make our own rules. You need proof of residency or official business to enter our island chain, and you dont see clusters of people ANYWHERE. Everyone here seems to be taking this deadly seriously. Almost all the restaurants are open but for Delivery and Pick Up ONLY, so lots of good choices. Parks open to residents only for purpose of exercise. All tables and benches sanitized daily. Schools closed, all students were given computers and online classes are in full swing. All kids up to age 18 can come to the high school daily to pick up boxed breakfasts and lunches, or arrangements can be made for delivery. This way cafeteria staff and transportation staff can continue to work. Sanitation vehicles continue to run as scheduled.
Most of dont know or barely care who is running the shit show up there on the mainland.
