but I've read similar stories about something like this happening in several European countries, especially Italy and England. So it was only a matter of time to see that in the US as well. I think it had another name and is an illness that sometimes comes after getting the flu but there was a significant increase in cases recently. It was also linked to Covid and apparently it's really nasty.
