The black vote is crucial to Dem victories (see also South Carolina). We want to see a record AA vote turn out.

And let's be frank, the black vote is a hugely important segment of the party base and it's way past time for a woman on the ticket as it's 2020. An all white ticket does not reflect the diversity of the party and we may very well be self-suppressing our own vote by again not returning the loyalty that black voters show to the party.
