Reagan was reactionary, Nixon had authoritarian impulses, and Bush was profoundly misguided but I don't believe they were sociopaths. The sine qua non of sociopathy is a lack of empathy. Trump doesn't have a scintilla of it.

How can his supporters not see it? He couldn't care less that hundreds of thousands of Americans are dying from COVID-19?
