Can they be returned to duty? Have they been destroyed or dismantled to make sure that can't happen? And if so, WHY?

SHOW US the sorting machines. SHOW US they're back in place where they belong. SHOW US they still work. SHOW US they're back in use in good working order again.

Did they add any after removals were called off? We still have at least 3,800 sorters in action.

Country wide. Those things are fast, and a lot of commercial mail comes presorted.

Agreed. Voting machines were hacked by the Russians and if we vote by mail they can't flip our vote.
