7. That is so good to hear

I phonebanked from California on the morning of November 8, 2016. I showed up at 500am Pacific, was trained for an hour and then got on the phone from 6am Pacific onwards.

Interestingly, our entire call center was calling Michigan numbers on Election Day morning. My three-hour stint was relatively uneventful. However, near the end of our shift, the fellow sitting next me was in shell-shock. Whomever he had called in Michigan apparently chewed the hell out of him, screaming about "what a crook Hillary is" and that "she needs to be in jail." These were ostensibly Democratic voters.

It only after Election Day 2016 that we all realized what had happened: so many of the people we had been talking to that day and in 2016 were the targets of Russian dis-information/interference that Trump and his hench-idiots so willingly participated in.

I am going to do phonebanking this Sunday, and I truly hope the experience is going to go well. I think it will!
