Alex Trebek has died!

8. My diagnosis was same month & year

but I was Stage 1, not the stage 4 Mr Trebek had.
I went through IV chemo & radiation, from March through August, and had a Whipple surgery in Nov. I am doing well, but recent blood numbers are showing the cancer might be back. Now teating with DNA altering new drugs.
We laugh that I am now like GMO corn!
I followed Mr. Trebek's progress, and benefitted from some of the info resources he shared about his cares.

Jeopardy was my favorite show, growing up and we made a game using a dictionary from it.
We'd open the dictionary to a n page and point to a word; read the definition and see if we could guess the word.
I've play this with the two generations of kids in my family, and they think it's alot of fun.

Cancer is something to fight and one cannot get enough information of cares, treatments and new medicines.
I am glad Mr Biden will focus on science to keep cancer efforts moving forward, as Mr. Trebek certainly did on the international stage.
