He tweets like a madman when he knows he has "fixers" to cover things up, a la Michael Cohen all those years. Or Mitch and the republican cronies rubber stamping his impeachment acquittal. He knows he has no control over this, and he's in trouble. Better to call as little attention to this as possible.
