This event was especially meaningful for all the dead-enders who are the most emotionally attached to Daddy Don and couldn't let him go, and/or were the most motivated to finally find a release for their anger. Think about how motivated you'd have to be to spend buttloads of money and take time off work to go to this--are you just going to be satisfied with another regular Trump rally, turn around and go home, after all that money and trouble?

No, this time Trump, Cruz, Hawley, Boebert, Brooks, etc. wound them up, told them they were the last guardians of the Republic, and then gave them a target. They were directed to release that pent-up anger and crazy--down the street toward the public figures whom they've hated for years.

When you see Trump supporters saying that it had to be Antifa causing the violence because his rallies weren't violent, well...this is the first time they'd been to a rally and then immediately mobilized to unleash their crazy.
